Quality Matters” has always been the code we’ve lived by since we opened our first location back in December 1996. Since then, our main focus has been to provide the most attractive hand blown glass art with optimal function. The mindset we will continue to follow is that our patrons will always come first and will be treated with the utmost respect, honesty and remarkable customer service. In this industry, having knowledge about the products is mandatory, and we will continue to do our best to keep up with new trends and innovations to pass it on to you.

smokers World shop is family owned and operated, founded by George F. Ankar back in December of 1996. George created and branded Smokers World into existence for a full decade. After that first decade, he sold his store to his long time employee/cousin Kristopher Zaybak who continued and expanded Smokers World from 2006 to where we are today with two Houston stores. Before social media, it was difficult to find the right kind of glass suited for our shop. Our goal was to expand the popularity of artistic glass pipes made in the USA. We traveled the country with the hopes of connecting with glassblowers making the quality of pipes that met our specifications. We’ve seen the evolution of the smoke shop industry grow from cross country road trips in search of glass, to attending annual trade shows 3 to 4 times a year, displaying glass that truly belongs in museums. We are extremely lucky to be part of this and to share our experiences with everyone
