Beta-Glucan Content
Beta-glucans are the primary bioactive polysaccharides in functional mushrooms, responsible for immune-modulating effects. Quality products will specify beta-glucan content (look for 20% or higher). If a product only lists "polysaccharides" without specifying beta-glucans, it may be counting starch fillers.
